Departure from the port of Lipari Marina Corta at 9:00 to reach the island of Vulcano. In place of Vulcano, a volcanological guide awaits you to begin the climb of the Gran Cratere di Vulcano together. From the top of the volcano, the view and nature will leave you breathless.
After the descent from the volcano, visit the city center and walk to reach the Black Sands Beach
and the pit with volcanic mud. Lunch is included in the price and consists of a typical Aeolian menu with Pani Cunsatu and a drink.
In the afternoon we will leave the island for a boat tour of about two hours and, subsequently, to reach Lipari, where one of our guides will visit the island and the main places of interest in Lipari. The tour will end around 18.00.
Any variations of the excursion from Lipari to Great Crater and Boat Tour regarding departure times or other information will be communicated in advance by email or Whatsapp.
Departure from the island of Lipari at 9:00 for the island of Vulcano.
After reaching the island of Vulcano, together with our VOLCANOLOGICAL GUIDE, climb the crater (medium-low difficulty level). The climb is a pleasant walk of about 50/60 minutes along a path surrounded by gorse, volcanic boulders, and a black and sandy bottom composed mainly of volcanic dust.
The main reason to reach the GREAT CRATER is certainly the view: from the top, the view sweeps over all the Aeolian islands.
Back in the port area, we suggest a visit to the Sulfur Mud, the Black Sand Beaches, and the center of the island.
Shortstop for lunch in a restaurant with the Aeolian specialty of Pani Cunzatu with a drink.
After lunch, departure from the port on small typical Aeolian boats for the sea tour of the island of Vulcano lasting about 2 hours. It will be possible to dive from the boat if the weather and sea conditions allow it.
Return to the port of Lipari. One of our tour guides will follow the participants for a tour of the historic center, the Castle, and the Archaeological Area. Visit of the Cathedral of San Bartolomeo and a final walk along Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
