Excursion from Cefalù to the Etna volcano and Taormina.
We will visit together some of the most beautiful destinations in Sicily and Italy. A unique landscape rich in nature and history declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Departure at 07.00. Our journey takes us to Etna, the highest volcano in Europe.
Arrival at Etna Sud, Rifugio Sapienza (C.A.I.) at an altitude of 1900 meters. Free time for the various opportunities of more or less demanding walks that the highest active volcano in Europe offers: ascent with off-road vehicles up to an altitude of 3000 meters, accompanied by authorized guides (duration about 2 hours), guided walk up to an altitude of 2100 meters (duration 2 hours approximately), free walks to the extinct craters at an altitude of 1900 meters.
Continue to Taormina, the pearl of the Mediterranean is suspended like a flowered balcony on the Ionian Sea to dominate the bay of Giardini Naxos. Taormina is known and famous for its climate, its rich vegetation, its superb buildings, its elegant squares, and its panoramic position about 200 meters above the sea, at the foot of Mount Tauro. Reaching Porta Messina and free time to visit the historic center, shopping along Corso Umberto, and last but not least, a visit to the super panoramic "Ancient Theater". Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
