The Archaeological Park of Syracuse is the most representative area of the ancient Greek city with vast green areas crossed by an avenue traced on the ancient Roman road. From this ancient strata you access the main ones. We will pick you up directly from the hotel or at the facility where you stay and together we will go to Syracuse to visit the Archaeological Park of Neapolis, which houses most of the monuments of Syracuse from the Greek and Roman period: the Theater. Greco, the Roman Amphitheater, the Latomia del Paradiso with the Ear of Dionysus and the Grotta dei Cordari, the Ara di Ierone and the Church of San Nicolò ai Cordari.
After the visit of the Archaeological Park, we will continue with the visit of Ortigia, considered the beating heart of Syracuse. We will walk between Greek temples and Christian churches, Swabian, Aragonese and Baroque palaces, courtyards, Arab alleys, shops, modest houses and extraordinary squares. We will visit the magnificent Aretusa Fountain and the immense Piazza del Duomo surrounded by numerous noble palaces.
After lunch (optional), we will continue our excursion by visiting Noto, considered the greatest jewel of the Sicilian Baroque, already declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The numerous palaces and churches along the main street of the Sicilian capital of Baroque are also known as the "Stone Garden" of Noto.
