The excursion departing from the Port of Capo d’Orlando with destination the Islands of Lipari and Vulcano is carried out on board comfortable and safe boats.

The first stop is Lipari, the Isola Bianca. During your visit to Lipari, you will have the opportunity to explore the Museo Archeologico Eoliano (Aeolian Archaeological Museum), immersing yourself in ancient history, admire the Cathedral of San Bartolomeo, an architectural jewel, and stroll along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, past shops and cafes.

The second stop is Vulcano, the island closest to the Sicilian coast. Here you can admire the Fossa del Vulcano, the smoking crater that dominates the island, and its fumaroles, which emit sulphurous vapours. You can also bathe in the thermal waters, which are rich in beneficial properties for the skin and respiratory tract, or at the Black Sands beach, characterised by black volcanic sand. If you are looking for adventure, you can also climb the Vulcanello, a small volcano that was formed after a series of eruptions, and visit the Valle dei Mostri, where you can observe bizarre rock formations sculpted by erosion.

The boat tour will end with the return to Capo d’Orlando.
