Piazza Armerina

 

Piazza Armerina is an ancient medieval town with a Baroque and Norman historical center, surrounded by the forests of the Ronza Park and other woods.
On its territory there is the Roman Villa del Casale with its famous mosaics, which became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. It is a city of art known worldwide as the “City of Mosaics and the Palio dei Normanni”.
