Cefalù

 

Cefalù is known for the Norman-era cathedral fortress built in the 12th century. The mounmento is rich in Byzantine mosaics and tall twin towers.
Cefalù is part of the Madonie Park and is included in the club of the most beautiful villages in Italy
The cathedral of the city inserted in the Arab-Norman Palermo site and the cathedrals of Cefalù and Monreale in 2015 was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
